I think more research is needed into this Doctor and what he did to become an "established" doctor in New York before moving to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick and if he was involved in the development of the smallpox vaccine which must have included testing and trials somewhere before Jenner's great discovery. I feel there could be a connection between this person and the claims by Native Nations that they were given blankets diseased with smallpox and perhaps used in testing and experiments when the vaccine was under early development, several places along the New Brunswick and Maine coast share the name "cow" or "cowpox" and seem to be near Native Nations, otherwise, one must believe that Jenner was some kind of a miracle worker to manifest a cure without any research beyond his observations that those with cowpox didn't die from smallpox.
