Doubleday and baseball

[edit]

Well you talk about Doubleday and that he created baseball. Well, I live in Ballston Spa and there is a road called Doubleday Ave. It must be named after him! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.228.23.159 (talk) 00:14, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly Incorrect Assertion About Founder

[edit]

The "History" section states that the town's founder, Benejah Douglas, was the father of presidential candidate Stephen Douglas. This is inconsistent with the biographical information in Stephen Doulgas' Wikipedia page, which asserts that "He was born ... to Stephen Arnold Douglass and Sarah Fisk."

Replace "father" with "grandfather" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Justin0741 (talkcontribs) 20:50, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
