Citation History

[edit]

Not just in the history section, but practically nothing in this article is cited, and very little do I believe can be considered "common knowledge" particularly not to an English-speaking audience. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fulner (talkcontribs) 17:21, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder what the people in the Basilica di San Nicola think of the transformation of "Saint Nicholas" into a "jolly old elf on a sleigh pulled by flying reindeer". — Rickyrab | Talk 13:45, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Stealing of relics of St. Nicolas

[edit]

According to tradition of Serbian Orthodox church relics are not stealed from Myra, but only taken and transported to Bari. It is because of view and appeal of St. Nicolas to Bari's priest during the sleep. Personaly, I'm not convicted in stealing of such important thing by clerics.
