Name?

[edit]

Should it stay Batman: Arkham or become Batman: Arkham (series), Batman: Arkham (franchise), etc. It has been called "Batman: Arkham videogame franchise" on the Origins website (under news section). - Favre1fan93 (talk) 19:14, 30 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am thinking that Batman: Arkham could maybe be a better disambiguation name and (if so) this should have (series) or (franchise) in the label. That's a definite maybe. I don't really have a problem with the title if nothing else has that title. Jhenderson 777 19:20, 30 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Batman: Arkham (video game series) is probably the most appropriate, franchise is a bit broad since it's mostly games with some tie-in materials and products, a franchise is taking those things and licensing them to another form of media, so turning it into a film for instance or an animated tv show. It can't be just BAtman: ARkham because it can be easily confused with any of the multiple other things sharing that name since they all begin with Batman: Arkham whatever Darkwarriorblake (talk) 19:31, 30 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I find that the Arkham series is bigger than any one game, and thus it should be here at the main topic. - New Age Retro Hippie (talk) (contributions) 00:20, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
If I'm reading you correctly New Age, you are saying to leave it as is (as we have been going off of since its inception, which I don't think seems to be an issue)? - Favre1fan93 (talk) 03:10, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
This is true. - New Age Retro Hippie (talk) (contributions) 04:19, 17 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
