Batna
[edit]I have some problem to edit this page where is administrator ????????????? --Great11 (talk) 21:15, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
- You are misformatting your reference tags, there should be no spaces in them, like so:
<ref>Insert footnote text here</ref>
. There is a button on the top of the edit window to put them in properly for you. —Elipongo (Talk contribs) 23:13, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Batnian Youth
[edit]The portion about "Batnian Youth" is very unencyclopedic. Csab (talk) 18:47, 5 May 2010 (UTC)
- Agreed; I've removed it. Graham87 11:58, 11 January 2015 (UTC)
Bombing
[edit]I really don't see the point of adding this section. It was not a notable event (it's not remembered nor commemorated each year) in the city it was a news item among others (there were more attacks during the black decade for example which was the case of many Algerian cities). There exist many notable events (please refer to the French version). The article is short and there is room to include more significant events and studies about the city rather than reducing the history of the city to a failed assassination attempt. I see this section in Abdelaziz Bouteflika's wiki page, since it is directly related to him. I hope my argument makes sense and please let me know if you would like to discuss it, — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.88.43.38 (talk) 08:10, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
- It makes sense, but the correct solution is expansion (or perhaps replacement with a translation of at least the main parts of the "Après l'indépendance" section from the French Wikipedia article (which I can't do, as I don't know French), not deletion, because the link to the article about the bombing should be maintained. Right now the history section is structured in a very bizarre way IMO, but I'm not the best person to do anything about it. I don't know anything about this subject; this article is only on my watchlist, ironically, because of this edit. Graham87 08:40, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for replying. I'll add more content by translating the French version as soon as I have some time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.88.43.38 (talk) 08:49, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
