How can it be German victory, if the Germans were expelled in the course of counter-attack?--Dojarca (talk) 21:29, 28 September 2008 (UTC) --A battle is not a campaign. The Germans won the battle, but lost the campaign. The "counterattack" was actually a counteroffensive. This battle definitely did not last for several months--Operation Barbarossa was far too mobile in nature for such a thing to have occurred. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.103.96.162 (talk) 03:54, 16 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
