The result of the move request was: moved. Strong arguments that the proposed title is the common name since the name change (per WP:NAMECHANGES) which have not been rebutted. Jenks24 (talk) 05:02, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose — "Rogers" is still the common-name of the character. Doing a Google search ("Ben Rogers" "Days of Our Lives" produces 140,000 results (0.58 seconds)," while "Ben Weston" "Days of Our Lives" produces ""33,100 results (0.57 seconds)," which shows "Rogers" is still the common-name without web results, as well as a bulk of the citations within the article. It is annoying when a show retcons a character's name, and then everyone wants a page to be moved because of it. livelikemusictalk! 13:35, 6 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Support as WP:NAMECHANGES clearly specifies that, in determining a topic's common name, greater weight should be given to sources that postdate an announced name change. When I looked over the two sets of search results, many of the "Ben Rogers" results also mention the Weston name, and a hefty portion of the "Ben Weston" hits are about the character's recent return to the show. And when limited to Google News results, "Ben Rogers" "Days of our Lives" gets only 46 results, to 2840 for "Ben Weston" "Days of our Lives." This shows that current and reliable sources are heavily skewed towards the Weston name. --DavidK93 (talk) 15:19, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Support The character hasn't been referred to as Rogers in years. Not to mention Rogers was a fake name under a fake ID. His real last name is Weston. CloudKade11 (talk) 07:48, 20 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
