Category Spanish Town?

[edit]

"Spanish town" was added by User:Good_Olfactory as a category for this page about the fictional character Bertha Mason. The reason is that "Bertha Mason is the only daughter of a very wealthy family living in Spanish Town, Jamaica.". To me, the connection between this character and a Spanish town is to remote to put it in this category, so I'm afraid I don't agree with this categorization. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mariiwakura (talkcontribs) 13:13, 27 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"Bertha serves as Jane's "double", juxtaposing the feminist character to a character constrained by domesticity

[edit]

This is an academic opinion rather than a essential fact relating to the character Bertha Mason and is not helpful in the introductory section, particularly as the observation is somewhat obscure. It is not immediately clear, moreover, which character is which in that analysis. I would suggest it belongs in a separate section dealing with critical discussion of the literary character.
