Wasn't he in a affair with Darlene Love? It is mentioned in Love's book after reading it. TheGreatestLuvofAll (talk) 04:38, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Voice

[edit]

Shouldn't a page about a notable singer include some info about his voice/singing style etc? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.255.170.233 (talk) 22:35, 3 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Image

[edit]

I inserted a recent image of Medley. Should it be placed in the infobox or leave it where it is? Does anyone have an image when he was younger? Bearian (talk) 19:13, 3 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

School Days

[edit]

The article states that Bill Medley graduated from high school in 1958. However, I viewed a video of one of Bill Medley's concert interviews on YouTube (yes...Bill Medley is still touring today at 83 years old; I first listened to the music of the Righteous Brothers on AM radio when I was 8 years old in the 4th grade. I also watched the Righteous Brothers perform on TV during those early years when they appeared on Shindig!, American Bandstand, The Ed Sullivan Show, The Bob Hope Show, The Jack Benny Show, Sonny and Cher, among other variety shows of the evenings during that era). According to interviews that I viewed on video, Bill Medley compared himself to Bobby Hatfield, saying that he (Bill) dropped out of high school at 16 years old while Bobby had been a college student when he met him through a mutual member of their groups (Bobby formed The Variations, and Bill formed The Paramours during the early 1960s).
