Orphan tag October 2008[edit]

I have removed the Orphan tag as the article has now been linked to the most logical article (the manufacturer) by User Biscuittin. While not many articles link to this article, given the article subject of a single non-consumer vehicle model, such a situation is not unusual and the tag can be removed. Nice Bus![edit]

Nice Bus. But the one of the SSRBs bus drivers has rarely operated them. I Think Blue Bird is the only company to include Dark Red seats as an option. Slantz2011 10:40, 05 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

2022 Facelift[edit]

Blue Bird had just announced a facelift for the 2022 model year vision with the 7.3l Godzilla so I might add that in.

False information[edit]

Hello


It's come to my attention that someone has been spreading misinformation about the Bluebird Vision's Engine options, so I would like to clarify a few things:

  1. The Cummins ISV 5.0 was never offered in the vision. It was a prototype engine for the vision, but it never became an option for the Vision. The Cummins Website clearly says that the ISV 5.0 was only offered for Medium and Heavy Duty truck markets.
  2. The Cummins ISB 5.9 was never offered in the 1st generation vision. There is currently no proof that this engine was included in the 1st Generation Vision.

Much of what you did add was poorly sourced, if cited at all. Also, a brochure exists, showing that Blue Bird at the very least intended to offer the ISV5.0 engine for the Vision. I don't think the brochure writing Contact your local Blue Bird dealer... at the end means it was only a prototype. XtraJovial (talkcontribs) 18:52, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The source that was added in the Cummins ISV 5.0 just led to the Alternative Fueled Article, which is why I removed it.
Also Cummins's website claims that the ISV 5.0 was only made for Medium Duty Trucks. So what im getting from here is that sometime in the early 2010s, Cummins once produced the ISV 5.0 for Bluebird as a Bus option. I've taken a look at both brochures. It seems like the Safety Report was involving the 2017 - 2019 Visions with the ISV 5.0. I like to suggest that the engine was discontinued in favor of the B6.7 since it was created sometime when the 2018 - 2019 Model years were in production. And as for the ISV 5.0 brochure, it seems that they have indeed produced the engine for buses.
Below is the website to the engine in 2023. This is what threw me off when I was fixing the "misinformation that was there." At this time, I will reinstill the ISV 5.0 back onto the engine option for cummins with Proper Sources.
