Physical Properties[edit]

| Magnetic Susceptibility (Xm) = -126 x10^6 "cgs" ---- I'm trying to add magnetic susceptibility of the organic compounds to the physical properties of molecules. For some reason the physical properties box wont allow me to add this insert I have added above. A few key points, 1.) magnetic susceptibility units are cgs and and not cm^3/g like wiki autocorrects cgs to. 2.) magnetic susceptibility needs a notation that describes wether the measurement was divided by grams of the sample (Xg) or by the molar mass of the sample (Xm). Can someone insert the first portion into the physical property box correctly for us? TerpeneOtto. Dec 5th, 2016.

Moxa[edit]

Borneol is not used as moxa. Mugwort is used as moxa. The Chinese name for mugwort is Ai Ye. In TCM borneol is used to open orifices like the nose when it's clogged with mucous. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.155.187.224 (talk) 05:10, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Strange equation[edit]

The chemical equation shown is strange. Above the arrow, there is +H2O; below - 1/2 O.

First, it should be - 1/2 O2.

Second, people usually just use + H2, not H2O. This way, the - 1/2 O2 is not necessary. And it is closer to the truth. Conversation from keton to alcohol is a reduction, not hydration and deoxygenation. Ctchou (talk) 14:31, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
