Female vocalist

[edit]

Who is the woman who sang backup vocals on Wood's songs: Gimme Little Sign, You Got It, Oogum Boogum and maybe more that I haven't heard. It it Shirley Goodman? 72.179.53.2 (talk) 09:59, 21 June 2012 (UTC) Eric[reply]

"Goin Out Of My Head"/"Can't Take My Eye Off You"

[edit]

"It was the B-side to 'Goin Out Of My Head'/'Can't Take My Eye Off You' medley."

Recorded by whom? The flip of that medley, by The Lettermen, is "I Believe".98.149.97.245 (talk) 07:53, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Rainin' Love (You Gotta Feel it)"

[edit]

The article says it was a Newcomer Pick (along with other artists) and the magazine said it would "case quite a stir" but the article from Cash Box (February 1975) doesn't actually say that:

BRENTON WOOD (MidgetM-101) Rainin' Love (You Gotta Feel It)(2:33) (Peanut, ASCAP -Graham -Glasser -Todd -Smith-Winn) A downpour of friendly sounds, this tune has everything needed to make it a really big hit. It's a smooth and slow song to romance. Brenton Wood's silky smooth delivery is supported by subtle, sensuous vocals and crisp, tight professional production. Downright catchy!!
