There have been a number of posts about students from this school and the public should know that the school does in no way endorse what is written as none of the information can be reliably verified. If you see such posts about students from the school, please email the links to admin@brightonss.sa.edu.au. Thanks. Footy

[edit]

A school whose only notable alumni are footy players? Shame about he academic program. HiLo48 (talk) 10:20, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Got a point, or is it just a pointless flippant comment? -danjel (talk to me) 10:32, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Not at all flippant. One would seriously hope that a school's measure of success was based on more than the success of a handful of its alumni in one particular, very narrowly based sport. I don't know this school. I came across the article by accident. But it looks really bad that no editor has yet thought of or discovered a past student who has ever succeeded in life in any other field. Surely those who do know the school can do better than that. Found you one by accident, HiLo48. Not academic but not an athlete either. ;) Ka Faraq Gatri (talk) 16:39, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If HiLo48 ever looks at this again, I will answer his comments by introducing him to the world-renowned Ann Middleton, MOA. First Austn Sportswoman (Austn Table Tennis Champion) to visit China in 1971 (before Gough Whitlam even); First ever South Australian of the Year, internationally renowned jeweller - Diamonds International Award Winner, and too many others to mention. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 101.169.213.77 (talk) 08:30, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
