Electronic music
[edit]Why isn't there more information about his electronic pieces? I think that should be here somewhere. Corey Dominy 65.32.93.18 04:35, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
Nationality
[edit]Italian-German??? Please provide sources indicating that he was both, legally, Italian and German --Karljoos (talk) 10:43, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
Deletions
[edit]The following two statements deleted today from this article by User:Jerome Kohl seem likely to contain truth as they are repeated in many online sources, though none gives actual authority for the statements:
- In 1971 and 1972 he was the Tanglewood (MA, USA) Berkshire Music Center's director.[citation needed]
- In 1971 he became the Milan RAI Symphony Orchestra's director.[citation needed]
I therefore place them here in readiness for verification should it be forthcoming.Eebahgum (talk) 23:50, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
To add to article
[edit]Basic information to add to this article: did Maderna write in serial/dodecaphonic fashion? The article says he "discovered" 12-tone music, but not that he employed this technique in his compositions. More development about his method(s) is needed. 173.88.246.138 (talk) 21:03, 15 February 2021 (UTC)
Death
[edit]If he died of lung cancer, was he a smoker? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 21:10, 15 February 2021 (UTC)
