LDS Seminary
[edit]Having an LDS Seminary building near-by is not particularly notable in Mormon Corridor areas; LDS Seminaries are now so common in areas with large LDS populations that it's mere existance doesn't impart any significance. Released time religious schooling is not even a particularly LDS-specific concept; it was pioneered in Gary, Indiana, in 1914 by William Wirt, and was only cautiously implemented by the LDS Church starting in the 1950s (more info on the history of LDS Seminaries can be found at http://radio.lds.org/eng/programs/legacy-episode-38). Including information about the seminary program local to this school is not appropriate in this article; including it causes wp:NPOV, wp:UNDUE, and wp:RS issues and it should not be added back in. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 18:07, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
