Home to the first IKEA Store in North America?
[edit]I've removed the following information from the article:
Notably, it was home to the first IKEA store in North America. The store closed in the early 1990s though IKEA maintained a manufacturer in the park called Swedwood until 2004. It now operates independently as Scanwood Canada Ltd.
Where did this come from? I can find no citation (other than Wikipedia "List of countries with IKEA stores, since corrected) that supports it. IKEA lists their stores in Canada here. The first store was in Richmond, BC. I've revised the the wording about Scanwood. Sunray (talk) 20:56, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
