This statement is clear but not correct: "The thread is nominally 1 inch (25 mm) in diameter, with 32 threads per inch, designated as "1-32 UN 2A" in the ANSI B1.1 standard for unified screw threads."
I think is should read something like "The base is normally 1 in..." and "the thread has 32 teeth per inch as designated by..." Unified Thread Standard --John Bessa (talk) 15:32, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Focal Length
[edit]Given the use of these lenses with Micro Four Thirds cameras, it would be interesting to know how the focal length marked on the lens relates to 35mm focal lengths - e.g. given the 2x 35mm focal length multiplier of Four Thirds, is the 12mm lens in the picture a 24mm (in 35mm terms) or something less wide? Thinking about it makes my brain explode. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 18:22, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

- The http://us.c-mount.passion.pro/ archive failed; the archived page says "Bot attack detected ! stop it ..." instead of showing content. Sunmist3 (talk) 22:52, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
Telecentric lenses
[edit]As C-mount is pretty popular in machine vision and inspection, most of the telecentric lens products are with C-mount. Maybe it is worth mentioning? Similar a lot of high speed cameras use C-mount, mostly due to versatility of available C-mount lenses and its popularity in scientific and engineering world. 2A02:168:F609:0:C38D:4039:F7BF:4885 (talk) 08:58, 16 November 2019 (UTC)
