Originally published in 1966
[edit]Puzzled by the claim that they weren't published until 1983, since they are the subject of a December 1966 article in Scientific American called "Numerical Taxonomy". It's paywalled so I can't double check, but I remember reading the article when it came out, and there was a big illustration of a bunch of caminalcules.
