Just a note: the cerebellar tonsillar movement through the foramen magnum in response to increased intracranial pressure is called tonsillar herniation. Chiari malformation is a congential defect (with many subdivisions requiring their own Wiki), not a response to increased intracranial pressure. Kvandm91 (talk) 18:49, 8 November 2012 (UTC)kvandm91
