1552?

[edit]

Cesare was born in 1561. His portrait's caption says "Cesare in 1552". That's obvious nonsense, so I am removing it. I could not find any reliable source confirming that the portrait is actually Cesare's, but I will leave it at that for now. The only portrait of Cesare d'Este that I am aware of is the one by Cesare Aretusi at the Galleria Estense in Modena. Stammer 06:41, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

portrait double

[edit]

Look at the portrait on Alfonso IV d'Este and you'll see that it's the same picture. I do not know which one is the real picture of Cesare or Alfonso IV, but somebody else does?

++ Contradictory Info == The top of the article states fl 1561-1628. Summary box states fl 1553-1597 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lmeeth (talkcontribs) 18:40, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
