Based on?

The article says the Sri Lanka corps was "based on" the Ceylon corps. It is not clear what this is intended to mean. "Modeled after", perhaps? It is hard to see how after such a long gap the second corps was based on the first. --Lineagegeek (talk) 15:38, 14 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

G'day, unfortunately I'm not in possession of the facts about this unit (I'm just the copy editor here), but I think your interpretation is correct so I've tweaked the wording a bit more.
