Fact check

[edit]

One of the sentences in the article says " His first dramatic work came at age six, in a pilot for a television series that never went into production, Cutter to Houston."

The pilot for "Cutter to Houston," according to two websites was in 1983. Chad Allen was born in 1974. Subtracting 1974 from 1983 = 9 years. So there is no way he could have been 6 when he did that pilot, right? He was nine. Incidently, it doesn't mention him on the IMDB entry for "Cutter to Houston" either. /shrug --Naha|(talk) 04:32, 11 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Sometimes a show has gone a while between pilot and series so maybe it's possible he filmed the "Cutter to Houston" pilot when he was 6. (The first pilot for "All in the Family" was filmed in 1969, but the show didn't make it to air until 1971, having changed its title, some of the cast, the character names, and its network between the first pilot and first airdate.) However, "Cutter to Houston" did go into production and was shown as a series, even if not for a long time, so the sentence doesn't make sense either way. --Metropolitan90 03:03, 15 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

On not looking "Italian"

[edit]

I was really surprised to come to this page and find that his last name is Lazarri. I had no idea he is Italian. It's almost offensive, actually, that they made him drop his last name because he didn't "look Italian." I get so irritated by this stereotype. I'm half-Italian, and people don't think I look Italian because I have red hair. It's too bad people don't realize that in Italy there are all different kinds of people. I've met Italians FROM ITALY who have blonde hair and blue eyes. -- Andrew Parodi 04:44, 18 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

His mother's maiden name is "Wright". So He's not full Italian. JackO'Lantern 05:41, 13 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Coming out as gay

[edit]

This section isn't fully accurate. Chad was OUTED by the National Enquirer in the late 1990s. — Dtowng 16:10, 20 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Possible plagarism

Most of the original text from this article appears to have been copied from http://www.chadallenonline.com/index1.html. Should another article be written, then?

Two talk pages

[edit]

There seems to be a duplication of talk pages; this one should be merged with Talk:Chad Allen (actor). I was ready to assess the article for the wiki biography assessment drive and noticed the duplication. --FeanorStar7 13:50, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
