Added a simple explanation and cross reference. Reflection (talk) 00:07, 5 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Flyboyrob2112. Your edit of 21:49, 13 April 2017‎ is an improvement, but for a different reason than the one given. It's better because it is simpler and clearer. Just for the record, the following three statements are all true.

1/ The weak force is… the only force (apart from gravity) to interact with neutrinos.

2/ The weak force is… the only force (apart from gravity) to interact with electrons, neutrinos and quarks.

3/ Electrons interact via the electromagnetic force as well [as via the weak force], and quarks interact via all four [forces].

Neither 1/ nor 3/ contradict 2/, so the reason given doesn’t quite add up. However, your edit is simpler, so it’s a clear improvement, so thanks! Reflection (talk) 03:11, 14 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi All.

We seem to have lost a heading "In simple terms" that introduced the last part of the article. This last part is crafted to make sense to a wider audience than the highly technical first half.

The problem with omitting this heading is that many potential readers may be put off by the heavily technical start and give up. The subheading tells this wider readership that there is reason to read on.

Because of the potential for improved accessibility and openness to a wider audience, I will put this heading back in. See what you think.
