The article's title doesn't seem to do justice to an influential polymathic genius who seems to have tackled sundry subjects, including philosophy, theology and ethics, becoming a household name in schools of the period in the process, while also applying a Renaissance earnestness to the study of natural history, and bees in particular, not known since classical antiquity.--194.83.172.121 (talk) 16:14, 21 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
