I removed the link to a biography article on a wholly unreliable website which should not be linked to from WP as it is not a reliable source. Uncited assertions remain and I'll revisit this. Midgley 11:04, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

See www.whale.to/v/creighton.html www.reformation.org/charles-creighton.html for sites in question. And links to his books and articles have been deleted [1] [2] One excuse was copyvio for a 19 cent book! john 12:03, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Copyvio is copyvio. It is, simply, not allowed. Michael Ralston 03:16, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
John means 19th century, not costing 19 cents, so that wouldn't be copyvio. The reformation.org sources, however, most likely are. I doubt much will happen concerning the main text by William Bulloch, but as he died in 1941, it's strictly speaking copyvio until 2011. But using the complete entry from the 1971 Dictionary of Scientific Biography is definitely copyvio. Tearlach 13:07, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, 19th century. I think copyright is 80 years but it could be 50. I have the best collection of smallpox vaccination books on line anywhere www.whale.to/vaccines/smallpox14.html. They completely take apart smallpox vaccination, which holds up the rest of the vaccines, so you can see right there why Midgley wants to cut links to them using any reason except the real one. john 16:17, 18 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

“On Indications of the Hashish-Vice in the Old Testament”

I came across this work attributed to Dr. Creighton, but it is not mentioned in any reputable sources I can find. Can anyone verify if it is a forgery, and is it worth mentioning if it is?
