notability[edit]

Since I'm making a bunch of articles about philosophers, I figured I might as well set out explicit notability justifications on the talk page of each of them. The number of reviews that Witt's books have received means that she easily clears WP:AUTHOR and the GNG. Her viewpoints have been influential enough that I'd argue that she passed WP:ACADEMIC #1 as well (she has a lot of mentions in SEP etc,) but given how vague that criterion is, I don't want to ever use it by itself :) Kevin Gorman (talk) 00:51, 30 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
