Hesh comment[edit]

The article says, "When Hesh's girlfriend dies of natural causes, Tony steps up and pays a distraught Hesh back the balance out of loyalty." I didn't interpret the episode end in this way. I took it that Tony killed Hesh's girlfriend (although the exact method was unclear) and then came and gave Hesh the rest of the money as a 'screw you, here's your money, that's what you get' gesture. It doesn't make any sense that the girlfriend would have died of natural causes--there was no indication of this and she was young.

response to above comment[edit]

I don't think Hesh's wife was murdered by Tony. He's good, but he's not that good. The feeling I got was that Tony brought the money to Hesh out of respect as Hesh was going through such a bad time. Also, by paying Hesh in full, I got the feeling that Tony was severing ties with Hesh. It was a very short visit. Tony paid his respects to Hesh, dropped off the money and left. This seemed kind of strange since they used to be such good friends. In earlier seasons Tony used to spend a lot of time with Hesh. When Tony came out of the house he just had this look on his face like, "well, I'm glad that's over; I'll never do business with Hesh again."

Agreed. Tony had nothing to do with Renata's death - it was a stroke as per HBO's episode guide (see the last paragraph). Ronnotel 18:45, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
My take is that it was a deliberate contrast: Tony makes up with Carmella who helps him out of his financial difficulty. Hesh does better financially but ends up the loser as his partner dies on him. The moral is that the people in your life are more important than money. Colonel Warden 22:28, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Sopranos81chasingit.jpg[edit]

Image:Sopranos81chasingit.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Spoilers[edit]

I don't know what wikipedia's policy is on spoilers in articles like this, but does this page really have to tell me in three different places what will happen in episodes that follow this one? Under the "Production" header, there are two references to "Walk Like a Man", and "References to other media" tells me what happens in "Kennedy and Heidi". Can't we just put all that on the pages for those particular episodes? (Or maybe they're already there, I'm not going to read those before I watch the episodes.) --Lakonislate (talk) 17:02, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia's policy is basically that avoiding spoilers should not be a consideration that limits what we write in articles at all. Croctotheface (talk) 00:15, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Spoilers 2[edit]

Despite what the official policy is, up until this point sequentially in the series the episode recaps in Wikipedia have not contained spoilers for advance episodes. If information regarding links to other episodes is to be presented, it belongs in the later episode as a reference to this one, not here as an unnecessary spoiler for a future episode. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.17.238.83 (talk) 06:59, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
