Boosterish article requires quality improvement

[edit]

This entry is a piece of local boosterism which requires citations and references to support its casual boasting. It is not encyclopaedic. 2009-06-02 97.122.254.136 (talk)

Clarinbridge is not up in the mountains

[edit]

Until now, the altitude cited for Clarinbridge was 60m (200 feet). Clarinbridge is right on the coast, at sea level, where the mouth of the Clarin River feeds into Dunbulcaun Bay and thence to Galway Bay. This figure needs correction. I viewed an online Ordnance Survey map (select Wind Report option to see contours), and I can see that the village lies lower than the 10m contour line. I have replaced the 60m number with 5m, reasoning that it is far more accurate, until the correct official figure can be researched. --Ischium (talk) 11:23, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
