Possible annexation by the city?
[edit]I noticed Google Maps shows the college as being outside the city limits, but it turns out that's based on outdated information. The area with the college is in the city limits.
- 1990 U.S. Census, Index of Clark County and page 18 - The area with the college is not in the city limits
- 2000 U.S. Census, Index of Springfield City and page 7 - The area with the college is not in the city limits
- 2010 U.S. Census, Index of Springfield City and page 4 - The area with the college is shown in the city limits.
Therefore an annexation happened sometime between 2000 and 2010, and this college became a part of the city at that time. Maybe it was covered in a newspaper? WhisperToMe (talk) 05:03, 12 September 2024 (UTC)
