Explanation about the image of Cussac

[edit]

I'm pretty sure that the images of this article have fallen in the public domain. It has always been in fact. As a matter of fact, it belongs to the official public french investigation about the ufos.

I AM NOT AGREE TO DELETE THIS PAGE ABOUT THE CLOSE ENCOUNTER OF CUSSAC. I don't understand why FisherQueen wanted to do it. It is an important case of ufology, jsut as Trans-en-Provence case.

Is it an important case? There's nothing in the article that explains to me how or why it is important, and no reliable sources cited to confirm the accuracy of the information in the article. You should read the notability guideline for an idea of what kinds of information you need in order to demonstrate notability. -FisherQueen (Talk) 12:26, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
My Goodness, Ms. Queen! Even the minor American UFO farts are reported and documented in Wikipedia! Why not include this French incident?!201.19.150.100 23:55, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok boys & girls : I have putted all my sources of informations. Among them, there is the website of The french official deprtment for the ufo's observations. You'll be able to find the official Police declaration of the children at this time period (in french) I also have visual documents but (photographs of the road, photographs of François and Anne-Marie) bu i don't know yet how to put a visual document in commons.

I know you're not living in France but i promess this is a famous case for french ufo's specialist. I precise that i'm not personaly involved in this case. I just want it to be known for the anglo saxons.

Reliable sources have confirmed that Francois and Anne-Marie actually traded their cows for small metallic spheres that they were instructed to bury in the earth, creating in their words a "blue beam" that levitated them up to the mother ship. Of course, you won't hear about this due to government suppression of information they don't want us to have. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.67.36.29 (talk) 13:55, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV

[edit]

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
  1. There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
  2. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
  3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 23:43, 23 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

September 2018

[edit]

I've reverted a massive text dump of copy from the French wikipedia article which appears to be a WP:COPYVIO from this fringe UFO site. The English translation is extremely poor, WP:FRINGE claims are made in wikipedia's voice, the "testimony" is written as a story rather than attributed as claims, and because a long list of French language publications have been dumped at the end, the sources for assertions and opinions are difficult to attribute. Overall, this is not an improvement to the English wikipedia article. - LuckyLouie (talk) 16:02, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
