The Princess of Wales

[edit]

@Sodacan: I know you are the creator of the page and you probably want to keep it the way it is, but don't you think it's a little bit confusing to have coat of arms of the relatives of the current Prince of Wales shown on that section but also have arms of Augusta of Saxe-Gotha who is in no way related to them? (except that she's an ancestor but that's it) And what's your logic for adding the pictures of Edward, George, Edward, and Charles? It's supposed to be a list of the individuals, and their articles are one click away so users can see their images there if they wish to. Keivan.fTalk 03:17, 11 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you feel strongly about it then revert my edit, I won't undo them again. --Sodacan (talk) 03:39, 11 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Prince William's coat of arms

[edit]

As of 23 September 2022, William has not been granted the arms his father previously had, or a version of them. I mean, I know that the tradition is that the King will grant William, as Prince of Wales, a version of these arms. But when is that going to happen? When The King decides it will. There's no set timescale or even guarantee it has to happen. The C of E God Save the King! (talk) 15:34, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I just read that it says that,
Sodacan's current graphic of William's armorial achievement omits the inescutcheon of the Principality of Wales but photographs from a visit to Birmingham on 20th April show that said inescutcheon was included on the flag and shield atop his car roof.[[1]][[2]] Robin S. Which means that Prince William is using his father's previous coat of arms from when he was Prince of Wales. And it means that the King has already decided that his son and heir can use that version of Prince of Wales arms. RicLightning (talk) 16:01, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Catherine's Coat of Arms

[edit]

Why has Catherine's coat of arms not been added to the Family section towards the bottom? Yellowwallpaper3 (talk) 21:34, 26 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
