Rename[edit]

I think the article should be moved to "Cobblestone Farmhouse"--Appraiser (talk) 15:45, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Circeus moved the article from "Cobblestone Farmhouse at 1229 Birdsey Road" to "1229 Birdsey Road" and I moved it back, as "Cobblestone Farmhouse at 1229 Birdsey Road" both is descriptive and is the formal name/title given by the NRHP program for the property. I did that and posted at Circeus's talk page before seeing this note here. Appraiser, not sure if your statement is a shorthand way of saying move it back to "Cobblestone Farmhouse at 1229 Birdsey Road" or if you actually prefer the even shorter "Cobblestone Farmhouse". About the latter, however, that is not specific enough, as there are some hundreds of rural cobblestone structures, many listed already or yet to be listed on the NRHP, which are covered in the cobblestone architecture theme study document linked in this article. Name-wise, I think this article belongs with name it was created with. Lvklock should be putting this up for DYK soon, by the way. doncram (talk) 17:01, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also listed on the NRHP in the same town of Junius, New York are: Cobblestone Farmhouse at 1027 Stone Church Rd. and Cobblestone Farmhouse at 1111 Stone Church Roach. doncram (talk) 17:05, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

list error[edit]

"There are three other cobblestone farmhouses in the same township which are also listed on the National Register: Cobblestone Farmhouse at 1027 Stone Church Rd., Cobblestone Farmhouse at 1027 Stone Church Rd., and John Graves Cobblestone Farmhouse."

Two of the above list items are the same. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.181.29.110 (talk) 10:33, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
