Early history
[edit]The "History" section currently states:
- At the time [1897], UMass was known as Massachusetts Agricultural College and New Hampshire was officially New Hampshire College of Agriculture and the Mechanic Arts. They had formed a loose association with other public colleges in New England such as present day UConn and Rhode Island for the purpose of scheduling football matchups between the schools.
As New Hampshire did not face Rhode Island until 1905 and did not face Connecticut until 1906, asserting that New Hampshire was part of a mutual scheduling effort with these other schools in 1897 is very questionable. Need to see a source for this. Anyone? Dmoore5556 (talk) 05:14, 3 March 2020 (UTC)
