Mayor and local churches[edit]

Wikipedia requires that information about living persons, especially controversial information, must be referenced to an independent reliable source. (Please read the guideline at Biography of Living Person.) The name of the mayor of Colville, Kentucky has now been added four times without any sourcing. It has now been removed again. It is improper to re-add this information without a reliable reference. Wikipedia takes BLP violations very seriously and persistent violation of the policy will result in an editor being blocked from editing. Additionally, information about two local churches in Colville has been added -- however, reliable sources contradict the actual location of these churches (including an official church webpage which states the actual location as Cynthiana.) Therefore, the information was moved to Cynthiana, Kentucky. Unless a definitive reliable outside source is provided which places these buildings within Colville and contradicts the official sources, the information is not suitable for this page. The "Unofficial Mayor" was indeed the Mayor of Paris KY, nothing to do with Colville KY as as official status. The Indian Creek church, NOT in Colville.......The only "Offical Mayor" which really was not, was Charles Bailey, who died in 1942.......his titale was honorary... I very much appreciate the eye hereCoal town guy (talk) 02:32, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
