Hello this is my first article and I encourage any comments and changes. Please dont think twice about making a comment on this page no matter how harsh they may be. Thank you Ulyanov322 (talk) 00:40, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Consider Deletion

[edit]

Commodore Decker is not a sufficiently important character in the Star Trek universe to warrant his own article. He made only one (admittedly memorable) appearance and is not noteworthy outside the franchise. His stature is similar to or below that of Dr. Severn, Richard Daystrom, Dr. M'Benga, Flint, Anton Karidian/Kodos the Executioner, and Trelane, none of whom have (or rate) their own article. Decker's information should be confined to the List of Star Trek Characters article. HappyJake (talk) 10:07, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the prod and set up a merger discussion. Umbralcorax (talk) 18:29, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I appretiate your comment but still I think that there should always be an indepth description of any character in Star Trek that had an episode that revolved around him, and those examples of minor characters should have an article devoted to them just as this does about Decker I might just do articles on them in the future. Thank you. Ulyanov322 (talk) 02:53, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, lets inprove star trek articles rather than merging them all into 7 lists. --Alpha Quadrant (talk) 19:51, 30 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
