Merge[edit]

Yeah, seems like Continental Dollar should be merged here, talkin bout the same things. Joe I 01:38, 26 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

Merge sounds good to me. As it stands, these two articles aren't great but they'll be better together.

To merge them seems like common sense here Butch-cassidy 11:10, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Of course!! They are the same thing. Why not merge them? I am pro-merger ~vreddy92

Proposed move[edit]

This article ought to be moved to Continental currency. The current name and opening line make no sense.

Denominations[edit]

In which denominations was the Continental dollar issued? --88.78.10.53 (talk) 13:00, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Twenty-eight gentlemen[edit]

...signed the bills.

What is the significance of gentleman here? Were they just men? Or gentlemen? I am not being trite; gentelemen in England were afforded different rights from mere men.
