2001 health advisory
[edit]- In 2001, the Oregon Department of Human Services issued a mercury-related health advisory for fish caught in the reservoir.<ref name="DHS">"Elevated Levels of Mercury in Sport-Caught Fish from Cooper Creek Reservoir, Douglas County" (PDF). Oregon Department of Human Services. February 12, 2001. Retrieved January 5, 2013.
I attempted to locate an archive copy for the {dead link} tag applied to the above citation for this statement and found none. I then attempted to locate alternate sources for the information and was able to find references that support SOME of the statement. There is a public health advisory for eating fish from the lake and it is still in effect today and it is mercury related. I have added those citations. What I can not find is a source or any reference to WHEN this advisory was issued or WHO exactly issued it. I have removed the citation from the article to this talk page, but left the statement intact with {cn} as the best solution to resolve the {dead link} and yet keep the issue open as unresolved. I am posting this here as a request for help of future editors.
