Copper aspirinate

[edit]

Could someone check the grammar and usage in this article. Especially the use of chemistry terminology. Also, are the reaction equations alright? -- Bfesser 20:04, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comparison between Copper aspirinate and Aspirin

[edit]

Is there any other research in this area than of 1978 done by A J Lewis in his Appraisal of the anti-inflammatory activity of copper salts article? According to his research, there's no clear difference in activity between copper aspirinate and aspirin in the inflammation model.J.D. (talk) 19:49, 31 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A quick check of PubChem for this chemical identifier found 19 articles for this substance, including many from late-90s and 2000s. One recent one is PMID 18478192 from 2008, whose abstract notes "The data were found to be useful in understanding the claimed enhanced anti-inflammatory activity of the drug as compared with that of acetylsalicylic acid.", so that one might be a good lead ref for finding others that discuss activity differences.
