the[edit]

the amount of space in sensing the body part is proportional to the the density of the sensory receptors in that area. yet, the distance measurements are inversely proportional to the cortical area dedicated to that body part. how is this logical?

There is nothing here that isn't more fully covered in cerebral cortex - can see no reason for this separate page - shall merge Iztwoz (talk) 11:15, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
