Probate courts
[edit]Maine has a probate court in each county, but the court system's website (https://www.courts.maine.gov/index.html) is virtually silent on probate courts, which I can't figure out. Maybe they are a different system under the state constitution and/or statutes -- ?? Ballotpedia covers them. Anyway, they should be noted here, perhaps with an explanation of any unusual status.
