  • ... that the son of Reverend Canon W.W. Covey-Crump, Commander A.T.L. Covey-Crump, compiled a list of Jack-speak which is still consulted by historians of the Royal Navy? Source: The National Archives
    • Reviewed: Heather Engebretson and Copland Track
    • Comment: Jrleighton created the article; Storye book expanded it. Note: The expansion is now long enough, and I'm nominating this expansion today, 8 July, to grab the date. However, the A.T.L. Covey-Crump article is not finished and not ready for review. I hope to complete it soon, and will post an update here when it is ready. Thank you for your patience. Update: I am now making this a double, with the vicar father (who was an author), and intend to get both articles finished soon. Update: The father's article, Walter William Covey-Crump, is now published and I have updated ALT0 accordingly. I shall be completing the ATL Covey-Crump article soon, and shall provide new hook(s) as appropriate. Thank you for you patience. Again.

Admin, please reformat this nom as a double? BlueMoonset? Thank you. Storye book (talk) 08:44, 13 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Storye book, please note that a second QPQ will need to be supplied now that you've added a second article. BlueMoonset (talk) 23:30, 13 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This nomination is now ready for review. Storye book (talk)

5x expanded by Storye book (talk) and Jrleighton (talk). Nominated by Storye book (talk) at 15:50, 8 July 2022 (UTC).[reply]

  • I have a two-part question before I complete this review: Why is his page at Covey-Crump? The article on him keeps referring to the subject as "A.T.L. Covey-Crump", so isn't that where the page should be? And shouldn't the article just refer to him as "Covey-Crump" rather than repeat "A.T.L." every time? – Muboshgu (talk) 03:14, 21 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thank you, Muboshgu. I have been unhappy with the article name issue too, but another editor had originally created the article that way, probably because "Covey-Crump" is the name of the compendium, and would be the most searched-for term. But I agree, it's a biog and that was wrong; I should have changed it before. I am in the process of doing that now - currently correcting all the what-links-heres. I shall then create the disambig page for the surname (I don't like that job, but I'll do it). I can't find any red links in the article. I'll let you know when I've finished tidying up after the name change. (done) Storye book (talk) 08:23, 21 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Update: The pagename "Covey-Crump" is now changed to A.T.L. Covey-Crump, and we now have a disambig page Covey-Crump (surname). I have cleared up most of the redirects and other mess left behind (I hope). If you spot anything I've missed, please let me know. Storye book (talk) 10:20, 21 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • @BlueMoonset: Sorry to bother you again with the template name issue. I have now corrected the article name "Covey-Crump" to A.T.L. Covey-Crump, and changed the redirect "Covey-Crump" to the disambig page Covey-Crump (surname), so the template name needs updating from "Covey-Crump" to "A.T.L. Covey-Crump". Apologies again. • WW's article is brand new and long enough. ATL's article is a 5x expansion from its previous state. Both articles are sourced with citations throughout. The hook facts, that WW was father to ATL and that ATL compiled the list are cited in prose. Articles both appear to be written neutrally. QPQs are done. Checkmark. – Muboshgu (talk) 18:33, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
