Ugly Americans

[edit]

Is it noteworthy that the new episode of Ugly Americans that aired afterward ended with the word "handjob" in a way that seemed somehow related to the use of "old fashioned"? Almost every single episode of every single show on Comedy Central in this season appears to be aggressively exploring/pushing the boundaries of thinly veiled basic cable body humor.--99.197.224.57 (talk) 06:45, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sitophilia or "Food Porn"

[edit]

just a thought, but instead of leaving it to IGN to mention Sitophilia, it would be good to reference "Food Porn" as the keyword for Randy's storyline. The setup and resulting rift between the Marshes plays out like a pornography addiction. It seems pretty clear to me that South Park is making a commentary on the nature of "Food Porn" itself, not just celebrity chefs LaVieEntiere (talk) 04:01, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mispronounciation

[edit]

Creme Fraiche is deliberately mispronounced every time it is used in the show, not being native to the US, I don't know if this is a common adobted pronounciation, or if it is as intentionally douchy as it sounds. 82.180.29.126 (talk) 14:01, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I believe it is deliberate. In fact, Randy nearly pronounces it correctly once in the episode, but quickly reverts to "freeshe". LaVieEntiere (talk) 05:57, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The origin of 'Shake Weight'

[edit]

As one can clearly see (and hear) the recorded voice of the Shake Weight has been taken by Alex the VoiceOver-program by Apple OS X.

Please note this in Cultural References.

Use this link to check the voice. http://www.apple.com/accessibility/voiceover/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.70.149.207 (talk) 13:00, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please read up on what synthesis is, it's original research and not allowed. Xeworlebi (talk) 13:04, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

Hell's Kitchen Nightmares Iron Top Chef Cafeteria Throwdown Ultimate Cookoff Challenge is the name of a program in the South Park universe, linking to real world shows in it is basically WP:EGG. References to real world counterparts should be made in #Cultural referencesXeworlebi (talk) 13:09, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
