How does the undulator tape correspond to the 5-hole tape rows?
[edit]Is it just serializing each row of 5 bits or something? Which edge does it start on (the equivalent of Endianness)? Can a raw interpretation of the sample shown in the image, or an equivalent 5-hole tape, be provided? ★NealMcB★ (talk) 17:57, 26 July 2016 (UTC)
- More research leads to more confusion and questions https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Baudot_code#Async_communication_endianness.2C_LSB_on_Left_vs_Right and some edits elsewhere: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Punched_tape&diff=731672647&oldid=731671909 Help! Align introductory image and timeline to the right
[edit]Currently, the photograph of the Lorenz SZ42 severely disrupts the flow of the article, but I can't figure out how to put it and the timeline both on the far right without one of them getting pushed left. Can someone fix that? (I'm also not sure if there should be a timeline in the introduction to begin with, but that's not my main problem.) EpsilonCarinae (talk) 16:21, 19 February 2020 (UTC)
