Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... I didn't have a chance to add in the citations from various high profile, third party publications including Teen Vogue, NBC Universal, Variety, etc. --Kim Leung (talk) 21:10, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Kim Leung: You should have done that from the get-go. —C.Fred (talk) 21:11, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@C.Fred: Just added them in! Does that suffice? Kim Leung (talk) 21:15, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Kim Leung: On the surface, no: it looks like the coverage is about their show and not them. —C.Fred (talk) 21:17, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Expanding my evaluation:
  • Teen Vogue:Does not mention them at all.
  • NBC News: Barely mentions them.
  • Now Toronto: Barely mentions them.
  • Yahoo link returns an error.
I stand by my assessment. —C.Fred (talk) 21:25, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@C.Fred: She has won awards for her work directing the show, as stated by Yahoo and at the Vancouver Web Fest, among others. There are lots of blogs that cover her personally, but I don't think we want to spam the article with too many citations, right? Kim Leung (talk) 21:20, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Kim Leung: The Yahoo link is working now. I see from there that she won a directing award from NYTVF. That's enough to forestall the speedy deletion. —C.Fred (talk) 21:29, 30 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
