Did you know... that Dai Prefecture and County carried on the name of a "barbarian" kingdom and Qin commandery, despite being in a completely different part of China?

This article is written in American English, which has its own spelling conventions (color, defense, traveled) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.

Administrative divisions

This page should also include a list of the county-level divisions within the prefecture when it can be established. There's very little about these old districts in English, and what there is either shows up in the bizarre old romanizations like Chavannes's or in less-than-careful translations that, e.g., calls both xian and zhou "counties".

It definitely included Guangwu County until 598 and Yanmen County from then until its abolishment/renaming. As for the rest...? — LlywelynII 14:46, 23 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
