Mortimer, Anna, and Anna's parents

This article states "Balch killed Stump with a shotgun as Mortimer, Anna, and Anna's parents boarded the Stark Street Ferry to cross the Willamette River."

But it also states explicitly that Danford Balch was Anna's father; how can this be?Mousebelt (talk) 05:08, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
