Should we put every city councilman from every city on WP then just because they've been mentioned in the local paper a couple times? Those articles are about other subjects where he is being interviewed about, not him directly, except for this one which is just an announcement of his election as County Commissioner, but that does not count as substantial coverage.--kelapstick (talk) 17:46, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I only moved this page from its old location because the name was wrong. I do find it curious, though, that the article would exist, just like this, in its old location with no problem -- but that it would become subject to deletion simply due to the event of its being moved to a more accurate name. The nominatino for deletion had nothing to do with the naming of the page, the page just came up as a new page when it got moved, and therefore was in the new page log and became more visable.--kelapstick (talk) 14:22, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notability and Point-of-View

This reads like his campaign site. Wikipedia doesn't exist to provide server space to politicians who don't maintain theirs. Further, he doesn't meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(people)#Politicians); though I can Google around and find him, the articles are not in-depth as specified in the requirements. Remove photo

I removed the photo as the subject was not the main feature of the photo and it was unclear even with instruction who was who. We should wait for a better photo rather than using one that is confusing for the reader. Per MOS:IMAGE "Poor quality images (too dark, blurry, etc.) or where the subject in the image is too small, hidden in clutter, ambiguous or otherwise not obvious, should not be used.
