Questionable edits[edit]

Edits by user user:standbyme has removed some well sourced material and added some badly sourced commentary. Even details of birth date and place have been removed without explanation. The edits do not seem neutral. The claim that Kurten is "currently" the favourite to win the next UKIP leadership election is debatable since the source shows that it depends on which bookmaker is used. There are probably insufficient bets to establish a clear favourite at this time and the result may change on a daily basis if and when a new leadership contest is announced. The user is persistent and I have no appetite for an edit war. I ask for the edits to be justified or further criticized here. Weburbia (talk) 10:17, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In the absence of any justification for the bad edits I will now revert them a second time. If the editor persists without explaining their edits the page may need protected status. Weburbia (talk)

Spokesman for education?[edit]

UKIP site and his personal page seem to suggest he has been reinstated as spokesman for education. Can anyone find out when this happened? Matt 190417 (talk) 15:39, 7 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Kurten as UKIP AM[edit]

There is discussion on Kurten's status within UKIP at Talk:2020_London_Assembly_election#Kurten. Apologies to anyone who I've directed here when I should've directed them there! Bondegezou (talk) 17:20, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

What subject?[edit]

'Before entering politics, he had taught the subject...' implies that he taught politics; I suspect that he taught chemistry. Someone who knows should re-write it. 109.158.6.189 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 18:01, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
