Hey gang-- For the past few days I have been trying to find some of Dr. Shapiro's contributions via the library loan system deal and haven't really found much success as most of his articles weren't distributed(?) a whole lot, I guess. Regardless, I have managed to find ONE article and if you guys would like, I can try to email it to you guys so we can dissect what the article is all about. Either that, or I would be perfectly happy doing it myself as it really isn't that long of an article (it's like 2 pages or so).
I found a small amount of biographical information on David Shapiro
I am unsure if I am supposed to edit the actual article on wikipedia or post it in here first so I figured I would post what I found on here and we can add it to the article by copy pasting it later, also he did get back to me through email and said he was out of the country and could get me some information on himself when he returns April 7th. We can add more to his biography after he emails me again.
David Shapiro began his writing career very early in life. He won his first poetry contest when he was just 12 years old, winning $15 for the accomplishment. He currently is retired and living in Florida with his wife. Many of his successes include a vast teaching career and many notable publications. He graduated from Harvard in 1965 with his B.A. in Social relations. He went on to graduate school at The University of Michigan and graduated in 1972 with a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology.
