The history section need a complete overhaul from someone more knowledgeable than me. I feel that someone may have made a well-intended effort but wound up not making sense, perhaps there was a language barrier. RudyReis (talk) 17:33, 18 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed it from the page because it doesn't make sense.--Jack Upland (talk) 07:01, 7 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Painting or photo?

[edit]

The image used in the infobox is described as Soldiers of the Korean People's Army dressed in Korean War-era uniforms marching through Kim Il-sung Square at the 2013 Victory Day parade, but when you look at the image summary it's described as a painting of idealized troop review formation by and for the management of the state [sic]. it appears to be a crop of a television screen and is poor quality.

Because there's no other suitable image on wikicommons under 'Day of Victory in the Great Fatherland Liberation War' I suggest someone with a better understanding of the holiday/the DPRK in general alter it to reflect the holiday in a less confusing way, or correct the descriptor to reflect what the image may actually be.
